About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Hialeah, Mi Cali Bakery and Restaurant is a vibrant culinary gem that masterfully blends Colombian and Vietnamese flavors, offering an unforgettable dining experience for adventurous food lovers. This charming eatery, located at 2350 W 60th St #14, welcomes guests with a warm, dockside shanty vibe where the décor and friendly chatter of regulars create an inviting, almost familial atmosphere.

Mi Cali’s menu is a celebration of bold, authentic tastes that dance effortlessly on the palate. The standout Bandeja Paisa is a hearty feast featuring savory chorizo steak, tender pork rind (Chicharrón Con Arepa), and a perfectly cooked egg arepa (Arepa E' Huevo). Each bite bursts with a rich mosaic of flavors—from the smoky, spiced meats to the vibrant freshness of their house salad, creating a symphony of textures that make your taste buds sing. The Chuleta Caleña Con Arroz, a breaded pork loin served with rice, offers a crispy yet juicy indulgence that feels like a comforting hug on a plate.

The bakery section is a treasure trove of Colombian delights such as Pan De Bono and the irresistibly cheesy Pan De Queso, perfect for those who appreciate a warm, freshly baked, cheese-filled bread with a tender crumb. For starters or sharing, Colombian Empanadas and Tequenos sticks provide just the right amount of savory satisfaction, promising a golden crunch followed by a luscious, flavorful filling.

Mi Cali also excels in crafting vibrant, natural juices like the Jugo De Maracuya O Parchita—a passion fruit drink so fresh and tangy it practically transports you to a sun-drenched tropical paradise. It’s no wonder that patrons like Fredrick felt instantly connected to Colombia’s tastes and atmosphere, praising how these juices redefine refreshment.

Guests consistently rave about the attentive service and authentic ambiance, with Joel noting the endearing charm of the regulars and staff, which perfectly complements the rich menu. Jose’s praise about the spot being one of the best Colombian eateries in Hialeah and impressively affordable speaks volumes about Mi Cali’s commitment to quality without compromise.

Whether you’re craving the robust, well-seasoned Mondongo stew or the crispy, golden-fried Arancini with its creamy interior, Mi Cali Bakery and Restaurant is a vibrant destination that goes beyond just dining—it delivers a heartfelt connection to Colombian heritage, wrapped in a comfortable and welcoming setting. For anyone seeking a genuine taste of Colombia with a touch of Vietnamese influence, Mi Cali is a true culinary haven worth savoring time and again.

Wonderful place to eat. Haven’t been to Colombia in a few years so since I was in town I had to stop by here. The juices are super natural and feels like you’re eating it instead drinking it. Will make this a regular spot I go to next time I’m down here.

One of the best Colombian spots in Hialeah. The food is always on point, the service is always good. It's also friendly on the pockets, not expensive.
